Hello,

"When shopping for a coconut oil it is important to purchase a quality coconut oil that is unrefined, organic..."
- Yes, I wouldn't have it any other way. Virgin coconut oil is the way to go, especially if you love that coconut aroma and flavor.

This Starfruit Cake looks irresistible! Gotta show this one to my wife and ask her to make me some. Thanks for a delicious and healthy treat!

Cheers,
CoconutOilGuy

Hmmm. I am guessing that the recipe would be a lot different with wheat flour! I haven't baked with wheat in a while, so it would be a bit of an experiment. You might be able to find almond flour at La Raccolta (near Beccaria) or Sugar Blues...that would be my best guess. They should have agave there too. If you can't find agave you could use honey. Honey has a stronger taste than agave though so there would be a different balance of flavors. I hope this helps. Let me know how they turn out :)

What a beautiful memory of your Grammie, Christine. I wish I could have known her and eaten some of her delicious meals. May she (and you) never be separated from the bliss that knows no sorrow.
